Sorry I made that giant emotional life post last week and haven't updated you on anything that went on since then. After the weekend I had, I needed some time to work on homework, and wanted some time to relax and be lazy.

We got Sam out okay, first of all. She's with her boyfriend in San Antonio now, peaceful and safe. ( But it was a long story that got her there )

School is going pretty well. I'm getting straight A's in Media Literacy, and I'm currently writing a reality TV show analysis on Mythbusters. I got an A on my first Criticism test too, which surprised me. We're covering reader-response theory right now, which is really trippy complex stuff, but it's an interesting topic. I wrote yesterday that my best friend's father passed away. It may have happened after a six-day struggle following a heart attack, but six days is still sudden for a fairly healthy man that wasn't even fifty.
